Girls Gone Hungry

Brunch in the City: Detroit Beer Co.

Brunch days are our favorite days, and we have a new tasty brunch spot Downtown. Detroit Beer Co. located near the Siren Hotel introduced brunch this summer from 10AM-2PM Saturday and Sunday. Boozy cocktails, beer, and delicious food options make for the perfect combination.

Brunch Goals

There is lots of seating inside but if you can snag a spot on the patio before it gets too cold, DO IT! We loved the buzzy sounds of the city while we waited to eat. Bridal parties filtered out from The Siren Hotel and boisterous  Pedal Bar Tours whizzed by. People watching was 10/10 and we loved the city feels.

The menu had great options. One of our favorite dishes was Detroit Beer Co.’s fantastic take on French Toast. Bread is rolled in Cinnamon Toast Crunch and stuffed with Cinnamon sweet cream. It’s ADDICTING and perfect for sharing at the table.

The Fried Chicken Benedict was calling my name. The Chicken was juicy and the Poached Egg was perfect. You can order this with potatoes or salad, I opted for the salad. The ranch dressing here is BOMB so for everyone that judges a restaurant on their ranch, you won’t be disappointed.

I thought this dish was a great spin on the classic Eggs Benny and recommend!

Gina always orders Avocado Toast and added an egg to hers. This dish was simple but tasty and great for vegetarians.

Obviously beer is an option but we loved the cocktail selection. I ordered the Sangria and Gina had a Blackberry Mimosa that she loved. The cocktail menu also included a Bloody Mary, Full Bottle of Champagne with OJ, a Rum drink with coffee, and a spicy Tequila option.

If you’re looking for a great brunch spot downtown we highly recommend stopping by Detroit Beer Co.

The lunch and dinner menu looked great too, so we’ll be headed back for that ASAP.
