Clawson scored an awesome new addition this August when The Salt & Sugar Co. opened on 14 mile Rd. This sweet cafe is serving amazing soups, salads, nachos, mac and cheese, desserts, cold-brew and more! Featuring fresh, local, natural, & organic Ingredients you won’t feel guilty when indulging in their delicious menu. I loved chatting with the husband and wife duo who run the cafe and the Salt & Sugar Co. food truck and catering services. I could tell they love what they do and it’s evident in the delicious food they serve. If you have any questions about the menu make sure to stop and chat with them. They’ll give you great recommendations and make you feel right at home! The menu changes seasonally but the rotating soups I tried all hit the mark perfectly. The Mac and Cheese is LEGIT AMAZING. So was the Spinach & Artichoke Chicken Nachos and the Honey Apple Crisp salad dotted with my favorite, GOAT CHEESE.
I’d say this tiny cafe is a must-try for lunch. They have plenty of FREE parking, an adorable patio in the summer, and cute seating inside!
